Tomorrow's the big day as we have our beach baptism at Playa Santa Maria!

It's going to be an awesome day! We have 2 buses ready to take all of us to Playa Santa Maria, so be sure to be at Hotel Las Palmeras de San Isidro by 11:00 AM. Please be punctual! We need to leave on time from the hotel.

You still have time to register to be baptized or to register to attend the baptism. Just call us at 441-1837. Remember to invite all of your friends and family members to come and be part of this very exciting day!

Baptism Update

Our beach baptism is less than a week away! We're so excited for all of the folks who have already registered to be baptized at Playa Santa Maria, and we know that more of you will register this week. We're also pumped about all the other folks who will be there to cheer on those who are being baptized. It's going to be an awesome time!

Please remember that we're going to have a pre-baptism meeting this Thursday night, March 29, at 8:00 PM at Hotel Las Palmeras, in order to talk a little bit more about baptism, and to give you instructions on what to bring, what to wear, and - most importantly - how to position yourself for the moment when we dunk you under the water!

Please be sure to come on Thursday night at 8:00 PM at Hotel Las Palmeras if you are being baptized, or even if you are thinking of being baptized. And then, please be sure to arrive at Hotel Las Palmeras BY 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 31, and we'll take the big bus down to Playa Santa Maria for the beach baptism. It's going to be an awesome time, so remember to invite all of your family and friends to come, too! We'll see you on Thursday night at 8:00 PM at Hotel Las Palmeras!

Obedience to God

This Sunday at 10:00 at Flamingo Road Church at Cineplanet Alcazar in Ovalo Gutierrez, we will be learning about obedience to God.

Noah was a man who was obedient to God, and his obedience to God saved him and his family, even as the rest of the world was being destroyed by the great flood. Jonah was a man who was not obedient to God, and it almost cost him his life, and almost the lives of 120,000 people in Nineveh.

We're also going to be learning more about how we need to be obedient about baptism. If you are a Christian and you haven't been baptized, then you will have your opportunity to do so on Saturday, March 31, at our beach baptism at Playa Santa Maria. Be sure to register for the baptism after the service on Sunday!

We've got some great video to show you on Sunday which we filmed at Parque de Las Leyendas (after all, we are going to be talking about Noah and the animals!) and additional video which we filmed at Playa Santa Maria. Beach Baptism!

We are so pumped about our beach baptism!

As you know, it's going to be on Saturday, March 31, at Playa Santa Maria. If you've never been to Playa Santa Maria, it's a beautiful beach just south of Lima, around Km 45-50. It's the perfect place for a beach baptism!

If you've never been baptized, then this is your big opportunity! If you are a follower of Christ, then this is your opportunity to publically show your friends and family that He is your Savior. Baptism is the outward symbol of the commitment to Jesus that you have made in your heart.

If you haven't signed up yet to be baptized, then be sure to do so ASAP, and be a part of the unforgettable day that we are going to have on Saturday, March 31, at our beach baptism at Playa Santa Maria!

Are You Too Comfortable?

This Sunday at 10:00 AM at Flamingo Road Church at Cineplanet Alcazar in Ovalo Gutierrez, we will be featuring a fantastic video teaching by Pastor Troy about the issue of maturity. Too many Christians only want to be comfortable in their spiritual lives, and get lazy in their spiritual lives, but the Apostle Paul tells us that we have to train hard, like athletes, if we want to be champions for Christ. It is a great video teaching by Pastor Troy, so be sure to come, and be sure to invite all of your friends and family to come as well!

This Sunday we also will be announcing the location of our upcoming baptism. You are going to be very excited about the location, so be sure to come and hear the big news!

FUEL Change

We are moving the Wednesday night FUEL Internet video teaching series with Pastor Troy to Saturday nights at 7:00 PM at Hotel Las Palmeras de San Isidro, effective this coming Saturday night, March 17.

The reason for this change is because there has been a Daylights Savings Time change in the United States this week, which means that Lima is now one hour behind Fort Lauderdale in time. Thus, we'll be able to reach more people by moving the FUEL Internet video teaching with Pastor Troy to Saturday nights at 7:00 PM, effective this coming Saturday night.

So, please don't come this Wednesday night to Hotel Las Palmeras! Instead, please come this Saturday night at 7:00 PM. It's a fantastic, new teaching series with Pastor Troy, dealing with membership, becoming like Christ, service, and stewardship, and you don't want to miss it! Be sure to invite your friends and family to come, too!

Commitment

This Sunday at 10:00 AM at Flamingo Road Church at Cineplanet Alcazar in Ovalo Gutierrez, we will be featuring a fantastic video teaching by Pastor Troy about the issue of Commitment. God is looking for people who are willing to make commitments in life. God is looking for people who are willing to dive into the deep end of the pool. God is not looking for people who only want to stick their toes in the water. This Sunday, Pastor Troy has a great message about how we can be more committed to God.

This Sunday is also going to be very exciting for many other reasons:

1. We will be giving away a gift certificate to Friday's Restaurant to the person who brings the most first-time guests.

2. All first-time guests will receive a special gift from us.

3. We will have popcorn and soda available for sale in the cinema lobby.

4. We will have a large variety of great English-language Christian books available for sale for 10-20 soles each.

5. We will have more information about how you can be part of the upcoming baptism we will be having.

6. We will have more information about the upcoming Holy Week Christian Film Festival we will be having at Hotel Las Palmeras.

Punctuality!

Last week Peruvian President Alan Garcia gave a major speech about how Peruvians must be more punctual. I know that he was thinking about the FUEL series on Wednesday nights at Hotel Las Palmeras when he gave his speech!

This Wednesday night we start the FUEL series, LIVE with Pastor Troy. It will be every Wednesday night in March - March 7, 14, 21, and 28 - starting at 7:00 PM at Hotel Las Palmeras de San Isidro. It will feature Pastor Troy teaching LIVE at Flamingo Road Church in Florida, and us broadcasting it LIVE over the Internet at Hotel Las Palmeras. It's going to be an awesome time!

Remember, though, that the series will start each Wednesday night PROMPTLY at 7:00 PM. So please be on time! If you arrive late, you will miss part of the teaching. So let's make President Garcia proud, and let's be punctual on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM!
